Anytime Fitness

These folks were not interested in a spring design, but something they could keep up for a little while longer. They wanted to emphasize all the perks they offer that other gyms don't. Their gym, true to word, was very nice inside and all the staff very friendly. Too bad there were practically gale force winds the day I did this work, which made it difficult. But we made it work!

Ace Hardware

Ace Hardware here in town is gearing up for Spring and advertising all the fun tools they have to help you enjoy it. This was by far the best experience I've had window painting. I didn't have to wear a coat, long-johns or gloves and some friends of the closing manager shared their pizza with me! Overall, I'm really pleased with how they turned out!

Arctic Circle

I was asked to paint the windows at Arctic Circle here in town for spring and to advertise the stuffed animals they are putting in kids meals. They asked me to make it cute and springy and to incorporate the ducks and bunnies and 75 cent burgers everyday. That gave me a little room, and I had lots of fun with it. My favorite part is the funky lettering! It was also nice to be able to paint without my fingers freezing! Welcome spring indeed! The same design, with a few variations, is on two opposite sides of the building and the ducks and bunnies are on the front.

Erickson GMC

I had the privilege of painting a car dealership's windows here in town a few weeks ago. They wanted to advertise for their upcoming tent sale and told me they wanted a circus theme but no to animals and yes to a red and white striped tent. That left my plenty of freedom, which was nice. I wanted it to seem up to date while still giving it that old school circus feel without seeming cheesy, and this is what I came up with. I was flattered that they followed my design when using the marquee to advertise as well. There were 4 sections they wanted painted on different sides of the building to they could catch the attention of cars coming from all directions. The two sets of very tall windows were on opposite sides of the building (same design), and the two smaller windows were on the front of the building.

Circus theme!

I am getting ready to paint a car dealership's windows this week. I was told they were having a tent sale so to go with a circus theme. They wanted a tent with red and white stripes and no animals. Since that left if pretty wide open for me, I decided to doodle a little and get a few ideas going so that I could run them by him first. There are SO many fun ways to take a circus theme, I'm excited to try a few more out this weekend! But I hope they let me paint popcorn. :) I really liked how it turned out.

Simple Easter Window

I guess this isn't technically what you would call a border, but it's the same idea. It took about the same amount of time so it would cost about the same. Despite the overall simplicity, it's one of my favorites so far! I tried out a few new techniques and it was fun to experiment a little.

Springtime animals

There are lots of fun springtime animals to paint, but 3 fit best on this window. Mr. Sheep, Ms. Duck, and Mrs. bunny. I tried to tie them in with each other with their long limbs. :) Stay tuned for some more spring time animal motifs!
